I work in a furniture factory. We have at least 5 of these in use by tool makers, engineers and quality. Before we got these we used a $300 Starett to get +/- 1 degree. Now we use these to get +/- 0.1 degree. Quality and precision are way up. Get the leg extension if you want to use the inside surface. It would be almost useless to us without the leg extension. Between this and the Smart Tool, we are making much better furniture now than two years ago.Customer Review: Best tool in the shop.

"Yeah it is accurate, but do I need to know a right angle is not an exact 90*? Maybe it is 89.4*."
Well you might not, but I do. I work for a commercial cabinet company and have found this to be an invaluable tool over the last 25 months. I know this already has a lot of reviews, but I wanted to say I have owned it for two years and it is still dead on. I ordered the smaller Denali the other day since I need to measure tight spaces once in a while and it was off by .7 so I sent it back. I will most likely give it another try and I know it is 1/4 - 1/5 the price (depending on the day you log on to Amazon) but I saw no way to adjust it when it was off so very far.
This is a quality product, or at least mine has been.

Just keep in mind that each leg is 16" long. It's a big tool but quite handy for crown etc. Not much use for small applications.
